Danny's passion for music isn't focused on just one style and genre. Throughout the years he has listened and watched other drummers to form his own unique technique. This list below is an acknowledgement to those that have influenced him the most. This list isn't complete as it is always growing and he had to pick and choose due to space... (and his webmaster's sanity.)

Dino Danelli

Dino Danelli, a jazz drummer by training, is best known as an original member and the drummer in the rock group, The Rascals. He has been called "one of the great unappreciated rock drummers in history."



bobby Colomby

Robert Wayne Colomby is a jazz-rock fusion drummer, record producer and television presenter. He is best known as an original member of the group Blood, Sweat & Tears, which he co-founded in 1967. He has also played with many other musical artists.



Hal Blaine



Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Bio



Hal Blaine was a studio drummer. He is well known as the most recorded drummer in History. Hal doesn't have a website, but the link above will take you to his Hall of Fame page.



Carl Palmer



Carl's Website



Carl Palmer is most know for being the drummer in E.L.P. (Emerson, Lake & Palmer). Carl is still touring and the linked website above has all those details.



Ronnie Tutt

Sonny Payne

Sonny Payne had the role of his lifetime as Count Basie's drummer. It was the perfect position for the hard-driving drummer and he fit in perfectly with pianist Basie and guitarist Freddie Green during the prime years of Count's second great band



Gene Krupa

Gene has often been considered to be the first drum "soloist." Drummers usually had been strictly time-keepers or noisemakers, but Krupa interacted with the other musicians and introduced the extended drum solo into jazz. His goal was to support the. other musicians while creating his own role within the group.
